As part of this public forum, Elizabeth May will respond to the recent ruling by the Supreme Court of Canada on the Carter case. The unanimous ruling stated that competent adults with grievous and irremediable medical conditions have the right to request help to die from a physician. Dying with Dignity Canada and Choices in Dying are co-sponsoring the discussion panel. Along with Ms. May as panelists are: Tim Dixon, Chris Considine, Dr. Derryck Smith, and Maurine Karagianis.
