Rebuilding Canada After Harper, 7 pm, Sunday 9th August, Ganges, Salt Spring Island
Please join Elizabeth May, University of Lethbridge Professor Tony Hall, Common Ground editor Joseph Roberts, and others to begin rebuilding Canada now. This means ensuring Harper will not be the prime minister after October 19th and organizing so that our elected leaders will have to work together towards the common good.
The program will include Elizabeth and Tony speaking and live performances by Joseph and Chilean-Canadian Jorge Lopehandia (guitar and Andean flute). There are plans for an informal picnic just before the event and follow up discussions the next morning. Organizers may be able to find billets for out of town visitors.
