Green Rides 2019

An Easy & fun bicycle excursion around SGI—spreading some Green

Date: Saturday September 28th, starting at 2pm
Location: Meet at the campaign office in Sidney

This is an easy bicycle ride suitable for all ages and all fitness levels, to campaign for Elizabeth May and the Green Party.

The idea is to bring our campaign to the bicycle trails, where we hope to find many environmentally-minded people.

We will meet at 2pm at the campaign office in Sidney and decorate our bicycles with campaign signs and stickers. Participants are encouraged to wear Green Party T-shirts if they have them and to dress in Green. A few loaner T-shirts may be available at the office.

We will cycle as a group to Mattick’s Farm and back (15 km one way), stopping on the bicycle overpasses at the McTavish interchange and Mt Newton Cross Rd for brief waves. We will also stop at Michell Farms and Mattick’s farm for snacks and refreshments and to hand out bicycle stickers.
