Transportation

How can I get to the rally?

A:

You can get to the Rally by car, bicycle or public transit.  A few lucky people who live in Sidney or nearby can even walk.

The link to Google maps is here.

By Car, Carpool

Parking is free, but might get full if everyone brings their own vehicle.  We encourage carpooling.  Green Party campaign offices in the region will be meeting places for carpooling and ride sharing.  To participate, contact your nearest campaign office:

West Coast Green Space and Victoria Campaign Office of Jo-Anne Roberts - 843 Fort St, Victoria - 778-747-3064

Esquimalt-Saanich- Sooke Campaign Office of Frances Litman - 106 - 3550 Saanich Road, Saanich - 778-817-1010

Cowichan-Malahat-Langford Campaign Office of Fran Hunt-Jinnouchi - 1-855-653-0236

Saanich Gulf Islands Campaign Office of Elizabeth May - 106 - 3550 Saanich Road, Saanich - 778-817-1010

By Bicycle

There will be space to lock your bike to the fencing outside the site.

By Public Transit

Unfortunately, the nearest bus stop at Beacon and the Pat Bay Highway is a .7 km, 10 minute walk from the hangar and served primarily by community buses. The bus stop at Fifth and Beacon in downtown Sidney has more buses stopping, but it is a longer walk of just over 1 km.  Check out the #70X, the 71 and 83 buses.  Link to BC Transit is here.
