Stand United - Repeal Bill C-51!

Defend Canadian democracy!

“The fact is that Bill C-51 will not make Canadians safer – it will actually do the opposite, and that’s the big lie being told to Canadians.” – Elizabeth May
On May 6, 2015 the Harper Conservative’s so-called “anti-terror” bill passed third reading in the House of Commons, and will now go to the Senate on its way to becoming law. We believe Bill C-51 must be repealed.
“This is about the soul of the country and a question of whether we understand what Canada stands for.”
Let's stand united. Sign our petition today and support Elizabeth May's plan to repeal Bill C-51 following the 2015 election. Defend our rights and freedoms!

Mr Harper has throughout the duration of his terms of office continually run roughshod over the rights of Canadians. This is just another in a series of many decisions to continue eroding our rights. Most of which has been done without Canadians knowing or having any say in it. This needs to stop. Politicians are supposed to represent us, not their pocketbooks.

Do you have to ask what my country is? After C-51, I guess so.

It is time for Canadians to reclaim our country and our core values, which Harper has consistently and insidiously been eroding throughout his dictatorial tenure in office. Repeal of this bill is critical to all that we stand for.

I never thought I’d see the day where “rendition” before secret high courts could become a common occurrence for ordinary Canadians of all stripes and colours. Hello George Orwell.

The volition behind Bill C-51 is not our first descent into the status of a totalitarian – type police state, and it will surely not be the last. We need judicial empowerment to empeach Harper and our present governing factor: and any others like them who may come along afterwards. Harper, like Putin and other bona-fide dictators, is a personality-cult wannabe. The all-round problem is that Harper has no personality.

The ‘Air India’ is a good example. The RCMP, as I recall, destroyed most of their evidence file on the perp the moment they realized that they had dropped the ball. For the rest of us that is an indicatable offence.
